Friction Folder $75.00
This is a friction folder after the fashion of the knives of the 17 th and 18 th centuries. The blade has a tang that folds in to a groove on the back of the handle. The tang acts as a lock to keep the blade from closing when in use. The blade is mirror polished, and is 3 in long. The tang is hot hammered to is final shape and is 1 3/4in long. The handle is lined with brass that is in the form of a U shaped T. This U shaped T is then installed into groves along the inside of the handle. The blade, fits into this U shaped T brass lining when closed, is then pined with a steel pin held in place by two female brass rivet heads. The handle is made from a White Tail antler.
